Enersight export settings

Note: Enersight version 2.14 or later is required to connect with the Enersight data loader in Planning Space.

In order to run the Load from Enersight data loader, preliminary work must be done in Enersight to set up the required export configuration.

The following summarizes the steps involved.

1. Create a Variable Definition to define the variables to be exported, and how they are named or grouped.
2. Create a Group Definition to define the opportunity grouping methodology for any aggregation of assets.
3. Set up a profile and include the required Variable Definition and Group Definition. The profile also specifies the Start Year and Duration for the exported data, and the Periodicity. And set the result data set to be exported.
4. Optional for the profile: define multiple export groups, so that Plan Data Set/Versions can be specified as outcomes against the grouping definitions.

Note that Variable Definitions and Group Definitions are independent settings and they can be included in multiple profiles.
